Return & Exchange Policy

At Janm Jeweller LLP, we take immense pride in our craftsmanship. We want you to shop with confidence. However, given the delicate and valuable nature of our products, we have drafted a transparent and fair policy for returns and exchanges.

1. Return Window and Eligibility

You may raise a return request within 48 hours (2 days) of the delivery of your order.

Eligible Categories:

  • Demi-fine Jewellery

  • Gold Jewellery

  • Lab-Grown Diamonds (Subject to Section 5 below)

Conditions for Return:

To be eligible for a return, the item must satisfy the following:

  • Unused & Unworn: The product must be in its original, unused condition.

  • Tags Intact: The security tag/label must not be tampered with or removed. If the tag is removed, the return will be rejected.

  • Original Packaging: The product must be returned with the original box, warranty card, invoice, and certificates (if applicable).

2. Mandatory Unboxing Video (Strict Legal Requirement)

Due to the high value of our shipments, Janm Jeweller LLP strictly requires an Unboxing Video to process any claims regarding:

  • Missing items.

  • Items damaged in transit.

  • Empty packages.

Legal Note: The video must be continuous and unedited, showing the package being opened from its sealed state (displaying the shipping label) to the reveal of the product. Without this video evidence, claims for missing/damaged items will not be entertained.

3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Visit our Portal: Go to the Return/Exchange section at www.thejanm.com/support .

  2. Login: Enter your Order ID (e.g., #JJ1001) and Registered Mobile Number.

  3. Select Items: Choose the items you wish to return and select a reason.

  4. Upload Proof: Upload the product images (and unboxing video link if claiming damage).

  5. Schedule: Select your pickup address and date.

4. Refund Policy

Once the item is picked up and reaches our Quality Control (QC) center, it will undergo a strict quality check. Refunds are initiated only after the product passes this check.

  • Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days post-verification, as per RBI guidelines.

  • Prepaid Orders: The amount will be refunded to the original source of payment.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): You will be required to provide your Bank Account details or UPI ID. The refund will be transferred digitally.

  • Promotional Items: Products purchased under "Buy 1 Get 1" or special offers will be refunded via Store Credit / Wallet only.

5. Special Policy for Lab-Grown Diamonds (LGD)

Given the value and certification costs associated with Lab-Grown Diamonds, the following specific rules apply:

  • Exchange Preference: LGD products are primarily eligible for Exchange only.

  • Value Matching:

    • LGD items can be exchanged for other LGD items.

    • If exchanging an LGD item for Demi-fine jewellery, the total value of the new items must be equal to or greater than the original LGD item.

  • Store Credit: If the exchange value is lower, the balance will be issued as Store Credit (Janm Wallet) valid for 12 months. Cash refunds for LGD are subject to management approval and may attract a restocking fee.

6. Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  1. Customized / Personalized Jewellery: Items with engraving or custom sizing.

  2. Clearance / Goodbye Sale: Products marked as "Final Sale" or sold at deep clearance discounts.

7. Exchange Policy (Defects & Sizing)

If you face issues with size or defects, you may request an exchange within 10 days of delivery.
